Choirs

Choirs for young people from all backgrounds and singing abilities

Does your child or someone you know or care for have a calling to sing?

Or perhaps they are already singing and looking to develop their skills, learn more about Cathedral life, and enjoy an enriching activity with like-minded friends?

What better time than now to explore our choirs at Gloucester Cathedral, where children of all ages and from all backgrounds are welcome to discover the joy of singing.

Whether taking their first steps in music or arriving with singing experience, our young singers find a supportive, inspiring community that helps them to refine their singing skills, grow in confidence, resilience, teamwork and communication, and make meaningful friendships.

They also get to rehearse and perform in one of the UK's most spectacular buildings while learning from world-class musicians who are at the forefront of their fields.

For almost 1,000 years, music has been at the heart of Gloucester Cathedral. Why not join our community to help us continue that tradition?

We would be delighted to hear from you. You'll receive a warm welcome, a friendly conversation, and all the information you need to decide on next steps. Simply email: choirs@gloucestercathedral.org.uk
