Situated just off the west walk of the cloisters, you will find a selection of beverages, cakes, hot soup, homemade quiches and sandwiches, and we have a range of Fair-Trade tea and coffee.

We also offer a delicious 'Savoury Tea', featuring a cheese scone, cheddar cheese, chutney and a hot or cold drink of your choice. This is priced at £5.50 per person.

Celebrate Christmas at The Monk's Kitchen

This Christmas, we're putting a festive spin on our much-loved Afternoon Tea – expect mouth-watering homemade mince pies, fudge and mulled wine, alongside the all-important scones with jam and clotted cream and sandwiches. What’s not to love?

The Monk's Hut

During the summer months we are able to open 'The Monk's Hut', which is located just by the entrance to the Cathedral on College Green. The Monk's Hut serves a range of hot and cold drinks, as well as delicious cakes and snacks.

The Monk's Hut is currently open daily between 11am-3pm. However, this is weather permitting, so in the event of bad weather The Monk's Hut may be closed. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

The Monk's Hut is located just by the entrance to the Cathedral
