In Tune: Creating impact through music

Unlocking musical opportunity and potential

At the heart of Gloucester Cathedral’s musical tradition is a simple belief: music is for everyone.

Through our academies, choirs and wider music projects, we're creating opportunities for people to learn, sing, perform and develop their musical potential – often opening doors to experiences and possibilities they may never have imagined.

Your support can help make that happen.

From introducing children and young people to music and singing, to creating opportunities for people from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities to participate, our work reaches far beyond the Cathedral itself.

Together, we can help more people find their voice, build confidence, develop new skills and experience the joy and connection that music can bring.

Gloucester Cathedral organ drawstops
Your last chance to sponsor a stop on our new organ

Be part of our musical story. Bid to sponsor an organ stop in our online auction and support our music, worship and education – making a lasting difference and transforming lives. The auction closes on 21 September 2026, so don’t miss this final opportunity to become part of the organ’s story.

Every gift helps us to help others

As a charity, Gloucester Cathedral receives only limited financial support from the Church of England and relies heavily on the generosity of the public to sustain its work. Every gift helps us continue this musical legacy while investing in the next generation of singers, musicians and music-makers.

Join our biggest music campaign to date

In Tune is our most ambitious music campaign to date – a campaign to secure the future of our famous organ and, importantly, to open up new opportunities for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to discover the transformative power of music.
