Special Evensong to mark NHS 75

Thursday 6 July, 5.30pm

5 July 2023 marks 75 years of the NHS; when it was founded in 1948, it represented the first universal health system to be available to all, free at the point of delivery, and it now treats over a million people a day in England.

On Thursday 6 July, all are welcome to join us for a special service of Choral Evensong, in which we will mark the anniversary and give grateful thanks and praise for our NHS. There will be special readings and prayers as part of the service. No tickets are required to attend.

The service will be followed by informal responses and reflections on the NHS 75 anniversary from health and care leaders and community.
