Make your visit extra special with a tour of the Cathedral's beautiful, hidden 15th Century monastic library.

Located up a winding spiral staircase, the medieval library contains a wonderful collection of books and manuscripts dating back to the 11th century.

Geography Edition - From street maps, and travelogues to pencil sketches, take a trip to the library as part of your Summer holidays to explore how both our local area and the wider world have been represented in our historic books.

  • Library Tours involve climbing 38 spiral steps
