Collaborative Ministry Lead (Diocese)

The Diocese of Gloucester is looking for a creative, flexible and holistic thinker who cares passionately about nurturing leaders

Band 3: £44,819 - £52,444
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week

The Diocese of Gloucester is looking for a creative, flexible and holistic thinker who cares passionately about nurturing leaders who will share the good news of Jesus Christ and make disciples in all our varied contexts. This is a key role in the Department of Mission and Ministry as we continue to develop and implement innovative approaches to collaborative ministry across the Diocese. We are open to lay or ordained applications.

We are committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and to building a workforce that reflects the communities we serve. We warmly welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and particularly encourage applications from individuals from under-represented ethnic groups.

This post will suit someone with a desire to see leadership that develops all God’s people and enables everyone to encounter the love of God in Christ and grow in faith. This includes shaping and delivering a Continuing Ministerial Development programme of support and learning for everyone.

You will have experience in developing collaborative ministry and enabling others to put this into practice in a variety of contexts. Together with colleagues you will help ensure that all ministries are recognised, supported and valued.

To arrange an informal discussion please contact Revd Canon Sandra Millar, Director of Mission and Ministry on 01452 410022 or email recruitment@glosdioc.org.uk.
