We are excited to be able to invite applications for Tenor Lay Clerks
Salary based on agreed flexible terms
Music has been at the heart of Gloucester Cathedral’s worship for almost 1,000 years and we offer the very best we can to the glory of God. Music can transform and connect people through prayer and praise and we strive to promote a greater appreciation of its value by bringing people together to share in stimulating musical experiences.
Music is integral to our daily worship with Choral Evensong / Evening Prayer being sung by either the Cathedral Choir or the Cathedral Youth Choir every day during school term time, and occasionally by visiting choirs during school holidays.
The tenor Lay Clerks will enjoy singing at a selection of Evensong, Eucharist and other celebratory services.
