Join Museum of Gloucester's Head Curator, Lizzie Johansson-Hartley for a presentation about, and to view, the museums historic clothing items that were immortalised in Janet Arnolds Patters of Fashion 1 & 2.

Blue Silk Pelisse 1818-23
Morning Dress 1837-41
Day Dress 1874
The talk and collection viewing will be followed by a Q&A about the pieces.
Bookings for this event will close on the morning of Saturday 21st September.
The event forms part of Threads 2024, an annual heritage textiles programme, now entering its third year, that celebrates the rich textile history of the City. Two trailblazing projects 'Belonging and Unbelonging' and 'Beating back the past' can be viewed in the Cathedral during Cathedral opening hours in September.
