Library Tour

Saturday 18 February, 11.45am, 1.45pm and 2.45pm

Fall in love with our medieval library this February. Explore a display of items about love, and items that we love, on a tour of this hidden historic space.

Located up a winding spiral staircase, the medieval library contains a wonderful collection of books and manuscripts dating back to the 11th century. 

Library Tours will be taking place on Saturday 18 February 2023 at the following times:





Adult: £8.00

Child (6-17yrs): £5.00

· Library Tours last around 60 minutes

· Library Tours involve climbing 38 spiral steps

  • Parking

    We are sorry that due to limited space, parking in the Cathedral Close is restricted to pass holders only.

    There are eight disabled parking spaces which are for use by Blue Badge holders on a first come first served basis.

    However, there are several public car parks within easy walking distance of the Cathedral.

  • Arriving by Public Transport

    The Cathedral is located in Gloucester Town Centre, so the best way to get here is by public transport.

    We are a 10-15 minute walk from both the train and bus stations. You can also use Gloucester’s Park and Ride.
