Collation and Installation of the new Canon Chancellor

We are delighted that The Revd Dr Rebecca Lloyd will be collated installed as the new Canon Chancellor and Director of Learning and Participation at during Evensong on Sunday 30 October 2022.

All are very welcome to join us for this service as we give her a warm welcome to Gloucester Cathedral. No tickets are required to attend, and this service will also be live-streamed to this page of the website so that you can join us from wherever you are in the world.

In this exciting role, Rebecca will be a full-time member of the Cathedral clergy, sharing in priestly ministry and regularly leading worship; she will also shape, lead and inspire the Cathedral’s Learning and Participation team, with special oversight of the Cathedral’s education and social responsibility work.     We are sorry that due to limited space, parking in the Cathedral Close is restricted to pass holders only.

    There are eight disabled parking spaces which are for use by Blue Badge holders on a first come first served basis.

    However, there are several public car parks within easy walking distance of the Cathedral.

  • Arriving by Public Transport

    The Cathedral is located in Gloucester Town Centre, so the best way to get here is by public transport.

    We are a 10-15 minute walk from both the train and bus stations. You can also use Gloucester’s Park and Ride.
