Your support makes a huge difference

Gloucester Cathedral is a charity and relies on your support. No matter the size, every gift to the Cathedral is critical to our work, ensuring this beautiful building remains in the best condition for future generations.

Donations help almost 500 years of musical tradition continue to thrive and survive in the 21st century and support our musical outreach work in the community.

General donations allow us to keep the doors open and run world-class exhibitions, concerts, events for our community and much more.

What is Gift Aid and how does it help us?

For every £1 donated with Gift Aid, Gloucester Cathedral gets an extra 25 pence from the government at no extra cost to you. Gift Aid is a tax relief allowing UK charitable organisations to reclaim an extra 25% in tax on every eligible donation made by a UK taxpayer. If you are a UK taxpayer don’t forget to let us know so we can claim Gift Aid on your donations, this additional income makes a big difference.

Please note the above Gift Aid form is for the Cathedral only.  A Gift Aid form for Friends of Gloucester Cathedral can be found here.
