Are you looking to bring festive cheer to one of the most beautiful historic sites in Gloucestershire? Gloucester Cathedral is seeking friendly, enthusiastic individuals to join us as Visitor Welcome Assistants for the Christmas season.

About the Role

As a Visitor Welcome Assistant, you'll play a key part in making each visitor's experience magical. Greeting guests with a warm welcome, you’ll provide information about the Cathedral's rich history, support with visitor guidance, and help maintain a positive, joyful atmosphere. If you have a passion for history, heritage, and providing outstanding customer service, this is a wonderful opportunity to share that enthusiasm while enjoying the festive atmosphere at the Cathedral.

Key Responsibilities

- Greeting and guiding visitors with warmth and professionalism
- Assisting with queries about the Cathedral’s history, events, and facilities
- Ensuring a safe and enjoyable visit for everyone

Requirements

- Excellent interpersonal skills and a welcoming personality
- A flexible attitude and a love of working with people
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, through the festive period
