Friends' Day 2022

Saturday 9 July, from 2.30pm

Each year the Friends host an exclusive event for all their members, and it is always a highlight in the Cathedral calendar. It's an opportunity for members to come together in the magnificent surroundings of this building to enjoy world-class music, refreshments and a special service of Choral Evensong. This year it is taking place on Saturday 9 July, and the day will be as follows:

  • 2.30pm: Concert performed by the Cathedral Middle Choir in the Lady Chapel

  • 3pm: AGM in the Chapter House (please note this is for Friends members only)

  • 3.45pm: Tea in the Garth or Chapter House, weather dependant (please note that tickets need to be pre-booked)

  • 4.30pm: Evensong

This event is free, although there is a charge for tea. All members of the Friends are warmly welcome, along with a guest.

Please book your ticket by clicking on the button to the right of this page.
