Gloucester Cathedral’s Season of Silent Film continues with The Hunchback Of Notre Dame (1923) on Saturday 14 September.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1923) is a silent film adaptation of Victor Hugo's novel, starring Lon Chaney as the tragic Quasimodo, the bell-ringer of Notre Dame Cathedral, who becomes entangled in a web of love and betrayal with the beautiful gypsy Esmeralda, leading to a dramatic climax atop the cathedral's towers.
