Cathedral Office Receptionist (Maternity Cover)

Monday to Wednesday, 9am – 5pm, 21 hrs a week
Band 8 – £14,280 - £16,180 (£23,799 - £26,967 FTE)

We are looking to recruit a part time, maternity cover Receptionist, working Monday to Wednesday 9.00am-5.00pm with 1 hour for lunch, who will provide a high level of customer service with a range of reception duties and administrative support for a variety of departments at the Cathedral.

Key tasks include:

• Welcoming visitors to the offices
• Receiving incoming enquiries
• Maintaining the Cathedral’s database
• Supporting effective and efficient facilities and health and safety administration

Ultimately this post provides key central support for the smooth running of the organisation and we can honestly say that no two days are the same. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisation skills, a ‘can do’ attitude, be flexible and enjoy working with a friendly and dedicated team of staff and volunteers.

This is a maternity cover opportunity for 7 months, starting October/November 2024.
