Nave and East End closed to visitors today

Tuesday 13, Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 June

Please note that the Nave and East End (Quire, Lady Chapel, Tribune Gallery and ambulatories) of the Cathedral will be closed to visitors all day on Tuesday 13, Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 June due to the Diocesan School Leavers Services taking place. The Cathedral Gift Shop will also be closed during this period, but The Monk's Kitchen will remain open as normal.

There will be access to the Cloisters via The Monk's Kitchen.

The 12.30pm Eucharist and 5.30pm Choral Evensong will take place as normal.

  • Parking

    We are sorry that due to limited space, parking in the Cathedral Close is restricted to pass holders only.

    There are eight disabled parking spaces which are for use by Blue Badge holders on a first come first served basis.

    However, there are several public car parks within easy walking distance of the Cathedral.

  • Arriving by Public Transport

    The Cathedral is located in Gloucester Town Centre, so the best way to get here is by public transport.

    We are a 10-15 minute walk from both the train and bus stations. You can also use Gloucester’s Park and Ride.
