Longfield's Summer Meadow

Saturday 9 - Sunday 17 September

We’re proud to be hosting Longfield’s Summer Meadow display in the Garth of Gloucester Cathedral.

Longfield Community Hospice is a locally based organisation which exists to support adults with life-limiting illnesses from their diagnosis onwards. Their Summer Meadow Appeal gives people the opportunity to donate and receive a beautiful ornament of their choice, including butterflies and forget-me-nots.

Whether you dedicate your flower or butterfly in memory of someone, or just want to help patient care bloom this summer, by donating to the appeal you will be making a difference to the lives of local people. Find out more about the appeal here.

The ornaments will all be on display here in the Cathedral, creating a beautiful and poignant spectacle. The display is free to come and see, and will be available within normal Cathedral opening hours. Please click here to check our opening hours before you travel.
