Performed by London Concertante, this sparkling concert brings together much-loved music from the big screen, taking you on a journey from the golden age of Hollywood to modern Christmas classics.

Hear the magical music of John Williams from Home Alone, the sweeping orchestral sounds of Alan Silvestri’s The Polar Express, and the playful score of John Debney’s Elf. You’ll also enjoy music from Love Actually, The Muppet Christmas Carol, The Snowman and many more beloved festive favourites.

Alongside these modern classics, the programme celebrates the timeless sounds of Christmas, including Irving Berlin’s iconic White Christmas and Dimitri Tiomkin’s beautiful music from It’s a Wonderful Life.

  • Parking

    We are sorry that due to limited space, parking in the Cathedral Close is restricted to pass holders only.

    There are eight disabled parking spaces which are for use by Blue Badge holders on a first come first served basis.

    However, there are several public car parks within easy walking distance of the Cathedral.

  • Arriving by Public Transport

    The Cathedral is located in Gloucester Town Centre, so the best way to get here is by public transport.

    We are a 10-15 minute walk from both the train and bus stations. You can also use Gloucester’s Park and Ride.
