The Liturgy of Easter Eve

Holy Saturday 4 April, 8pm

The Easter Vigil, celebrated on Holy Saturday night, is the most solemn liturgy of the year. It marks the passage from darkness to light and from death to new life in Christ.

The celebration begins with the Service of Light and the blessing of the Paschal Candle, followed by readings that recount the story of salvation and proclaim the Resurrection. New members are welcomed into the Church through Baptism and Confirmation, and the Vigil concludes with the first Eucharist of Easter.
