Gloucester Cathedral Christmas

Friends' Christmas Celebration

Join us in early December for our annual Christmas Celebration, when Friends and their guests are invited to enjoy the Cathedral dressed in its seasonal decorations.

This year we will, once again, be pleased to welcome Friends and their guests to our Christmas Celebration in early December. The Cathedral will be freshly dressed in its seasonal finery, and guests will get an opportunity to enjoy the decorations as well as to catch up with, or make new, friends.

Festivities will start with an informal service of carols, readings and performances from the Gloucester Cathedral Trinity Singers. If you are unable to attend the traditional Cathedral carol services, or simply find them overwhelming, this is a wonderful alternative, or addition!

Following the carol service, seasonal refreshments, provided by the Monks Kitchen, will be served at the rear of the nave, with time to mingle, chat and wander around the Cathedral enjoying our exclusive early access to view the decorations, and simply take in the wonderful atmosphere.
