Erased from the Face of the Earth

11–22 February 2026

A powerful photography exhibition highlighting the devastating impact of Russia’s ongoing war against Ukraine comes to Gloucester Cathedral in the lead-up to the fourth anniversary of the full-scale invasion.

Presented by Ukraine Aid and Welfare in cooperation with the Association of Ukrainians Gloucester Branch, Erased from the Face of the Earth documents the near-total destruction of towns and cities including Popasna, Maryinka, Soledar and Bakhmut. The exhibition reveals the human cost of war while also reflecting the resilience of the Ukrainian people.

All are welcome to visit this exhibition during Cathedral opening hours. No booking required.
