Following the death of Her Majesty The Queen, Gloucester Cathedral, the Diocese of Gloucester and Gloucestershire Lieutenancy invite you to attend a special service, which will take place at the Cathedral on Sunday 18 September at 3pm.

Please note that those wishing to attend will need to register for a free ticket. Tickets will be subject to availability and can be booked using the link to the right of this page.

Those attending are welcome to take their seats from 1.45pm, and we ask that everyone is seated by 2.45pm.

This service will also be live-streamed so that you can join from home. The live-stream will appear on this page of the website.

  • Parking

    We are sorry that due to limited space, parking in the Cathedral Close is restricted to pass holders only.

    There are eight disabled parking spaces which are for use by Blue Badge holders on a first come first served basis.

    However, there are several public car parks within easy walking distance of the Cathedral.

  • Arriving by Public Transport

    The Cathedral is located in Gloucester Town Centre, so the best way to get here is by public transport.

    We are a 10-15 minute walk from both the train and bus stations. You can also use Gloucester’s Park and Ride.
