Christmas Photography Workshop

Monday 16 December, 4pm

On this evening photography course you will experience the wonder of Gloucester Cathedral decorated for the festive season, and learn how to take breath taking photos.

Bring along your camera, smartphone, or tablet and gain essential photography skills. Set against the magnificent backdrop of Gloucester Cathedral and its Close, you’ll put your new skills to the test, then refine your shots in a follow-up session with our award-winning tutor in a classroom setting.

Participants must be aged 19 years+. Booking required.*

This course is being delivered in partnership with Adult Education in Gloucestershire.

*You may eligible for a free ticket if you are over the age of 19 and a UK/EEU resident in the last 3 years and one of the following:

Unemployed/earning below £20,000/retired; Learning disability; Mental health difficulty; qualified below a level 2 (less than 5 GCSES).

  • Parking

    We are sorry that due to limited space, parking in the Cathedral Close is restricted to pass holders only.

    There are eight disabled parking spaces which are for use by Blue Badge holders on a first come first served basis.

    However, there are several public car parks within easy walking distance of the Cathedral.

  • Arriving by Public Transport

    The Cathedral is located in Gloucester Town Centre, so the best way to get here is by public transport.

    We are a 10-15 minute walk from both the train and bus stations. You can also use Gloucester’s Park and Ride.
