Pilgrim: A Course for the Christian Journey

Pilgrim: A Course for the Christian Journey

This course has been postponed until the New Year.

Pilgrim is a course ‘whose aim is to help people explore what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ, in the company of a small group of fellow travellers who want to find out more about the Christian faith and are considering its claims and challenges. It can also be helpful to people who have been Christians for many years, as a way of deepening their discipleship.’

We are planning to run a Pilgrim course from September this year, starting with six sessions on the Bible which consider three questions: What is the Bible? How was the Bible given to us? How should we read the Bible? Pilgrim begins on Tuesday 25 September, and will run fortnightly until December, with a break for half term: 9, 30 Oct; 13, 27 Nov; 11 Dec. We will meet at the home of Sarah and David Gardiner in St Mary’s Square from 7.30pm till 9pm. It would be helpful to know numbers in advance so that we can order books.
