Saturday 1st June 2019 Limited Access today 12.30pm-2.30pm There will be limited access today to the East End of the Cathedral between 12.30pm and 2.30pm due to a special service. The rest of the Cathedral remains open as usual. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

10:30Song Writing Workshop for Young PeopleSaturday 1 June 10.30am - 3.00pm Parliament Room Workshop for young people aged 12-18. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in using music to tell stories and express ideas, and is keen to try song writing or improve song writing skills. The workshop will be led by experienced musician and producer George Moorey who will share skills, writing exercises, tips and techniques to help develop creativity, get inspired and turn ideas into songs! Spaces £5 but must be booked in advance. Lunch and refreshments included. Under 16s must have parent or guardian’s permission to attend. Please be aware that there is no facility to leave bags, so visitors must keep their belongings to a minimum, and remain responsible for them at all times. Sensible footwear is recommended.

10:00Adult Learning Photography CourseFriday 3 May – Friday 28 June 10.00am - 12noon Committee Room, Church House, Gloucester Cathedral This 8 week Adult Learning Photography Course led by Adult Education Gloucestershire will use the Cathedral as inspiration for beautiful photographs. Participants will learn how to get the best from a digital camera and take better photographs. This course is aimed at those who would like to increase confidence and learn skills for personal development and/or to return to work. We warmly invite you to come and hear inspirational stories, praise and worship, a Gospel choir and a message from well known evangelist J John, who communicates in a refreshing and relevant way and has spoken to millions of people across six continents. Whoever you are, however old you are, whatever you believe, you are welcome. One ticket admits two, so why not bring along someone who is interested in investigating the person at the centre of this message of hope - Jesus Christ.
