17:00'Behind-the-scenes' organ tour with Adrian Partington

The organ at Gloucester Cathedral is often regarded as one of the most famous in England, and it is the only complete 17th century Cathedral organ case that survives in this country. It’s therefore perhaps no surprise that the organ cases (including both the main case and the chair case) have a fascinating story to tell.

Here, our Director of Music, Adrian Partington, gives an insightful overview of their history. We hope you enjoy watching!

The video will be available to view here from 5pm on Saturday 15 May 2021.

Revd Professor David Wilkinson reflects on God and the Pandemic

How does a scientist and a theologian engage with some of the big questions raised by the pandemic? What have we been learning about what it means to be ‘led by the science’ and the vulnerability of humans to the natural world? Where is God in all of this?

The pandemic has focused questions in the relationship of science and theology which are both helpful and challenging.
