Wednesdays, 3 Feb – 10 March

£5 per person for the whole course
This course is aimed at people who would like to improve their drawing skills, who have a little confidence in their drawing and wish to develop further. We will be working through a series of drawing and watercolour exercises that use Gloucester as inspiration as well as considering the use of drawing to slow down and to reduce stress and anxiety. The course aims to provide an informal environment where participants can connect with others, sharing a relaxing and enjoyable activity.

The challenges of Covid-19 and resulting restrictions have required different ways of working to help us build on our existing successes, but not without times of frustration and sadness that we can’t do more.
We are delighted that our Breakfast Club provision continues to run every Thursday and Sunday morning. The dedicated volunteer team serve takeaway bacon rolls and hot drinks, utilising our outdoor spaces to ensure guests can observe social distancing when queuing, whilst still receiving a warm Cathedral welcome.

Led by a tutor from Adult Education in Gloucestershire, with support from Gloucester Cathedral. This online session will help families to make a colourful paper based craft together, inspired by the amazing stained glass windows at Gloucester Cathedral. Families will find out more about the windows and take away ideas for what to look out for on your next visit to the Cathedral (Covid restrictions allowing)!

If you wish to sign yourself at home with ash on the forehead, or sign one another, at the appropriate point in the service, please have some prepared ash ready.
