Come and have fun exploring your Cathedral with our free trail for children. Collect a Christmas trail from a Welcomer then go in search of the stars hidden in the building, learning about the Christmas Story along the way. When you have found them all take your trail to the Cathedral Shop to have it stamped.

Come and see this stunning eight-foot angel made from washed and lovingly stitched teabags. Created as a response to the plight of Syrian refugees, on her travels around British Cathedrals, the angel has become a symbol of the universal comfort of sharing tea.

From Sunday 3 December, wooden decorative stars will be available to purchase for £5 from the Cathedral Gift Shop, upon which a message or wish may be written before hanging the star on a dedicated tree within the Cathedral. Visitors who leave a Star on the tree will then be given the opportunity to light a candle in remembrance, hope or thanksgiving, to be placed as part of a special display with the beautiful tree.

The stars will be available to take home in the new year as a special keepsake and all proceeds from the stars will go towards maintaining the Cathedral for future generations.

 Limited Access at various times today The Cathedral Nave will be closed to visitors today between 10.00am and 1.00pm.

Access for Lunchtime Holy Communion will be through the Cathedral Coffee Shop and Cloisters.

The East End will also be closed to visitors between 10.00am and 4.00pm today.
