Mini Choir Recital

Mini Choir Recital, 17 July 2021

Did you know that we have a Middle Choir at Gloucester Cathedral? The choir was formed in September 2019, and it is designed to be an intermediate step between the Junior Choir and Youth Choir. They are currently conducted by our Organ Scholar, Mary Pan, and have recently returned to rehearsals after a very long hiatus due to the pandemic. It is lovely to see them back!

We hope you will enjoy this performance of ‘How Can I Keep From Singing’ by Robert Lowry.

Available to view from 7pm on Saturday 17 July 2021.

Here are the words if you wish to follow along:

My life flows on in endless song;

Above earth’s lamentation,

I hear the sweet, though far-off hymn

That hails a new creation.

No storm can shake my inmost calm

While to that Rock I’m clinging.

Since Love is Lord of heaven and earth,

How can I keep from singing?

The peace of Christ makes fresh my heart,

A fountain ever springing!

All things are mine since I am his!

How can I keep from singing?
