Longfield Hospice’s display of Forget Me Nots

Longfield Hospice’s display of Forget Me Nots

Thursday 5 - Wednesday 25 March

Be part of an amazing sculpture at Gloucester Cathedral this spring, and remember a loved one with a beautiful Forget Me Not.

Spring is a time of new beginnings, but it can be difficult when you are dealing with the loss of someone close to you. Remembering a loved one is very personal. Longfield Hospice's Forget Me Not appeal offers a unique way to celebrate the life of someone special – a wonderful tribute to their memory. And your donation to Longfield Hospice will enable us to support many more patients and families across Gloucestershire.

Their striking Forget Me Not flowers have been custom made to support Longfield Hospice. Please make a minimum donation of £25 now in memory of anyone special to you and be part of the Cathedral display.  Your loved one does not need to have been cared for by Longfield.

Each year, their Hospice at Home team make about 6,500 home visits and £25 could pay for 25 minutes of Hospice at Home care, enabling a family to remain together in the comfort and familiar surroundings of their own home.

During March, your special Forget Me Not flower, along with hundreds of others, will be part of a stunning art installation within the grounds of Gloucester Cathedral, each flower symbolising a life remembered.

Anyone who has made a donation for a flower, along with other visitors to the Cathedral, will be able to view and enjoy the beautiful display of bright blue and yellow Forget Me Nots from 5th - 25th March 2020, helping to raise awareness of the vital services provided by Longfield Hospice in your local community.
