In Manus Tuas - The Glevum Consort

Glevum Consort are a professional Chamber Choir based in Gloucester.

The group was originally founded and directed by James Atherton and has recently begun life under new director Edward Rimmer. The Consort are a versatile group, unique in the West Country. We specialise in performing early music, but are able to perform a diverse range of music for a variety of settings and occasions.

"In Manus Tuas" - Music by the great 16th Century English composers Sheppard,Tye and Taverner. The programme will centre around Tye's majestic "Missa Euge Bone". This will be the first concert in the newly restored Lady Chapel of Gloucester Cathedral, and will be the perfect opportunity to experience beautiful music in a wonderful space and acoustic.​​
