Summer Reading Challenge 2017 - 'Animal Agents'

Starting on Saturday 15 July

This summer we have joined up with the Gloucestershire Library Service to support The Reading Agency Summer Reading Challenge!

It’s easy to take part - sign up to the Summer Reading Challenge at your local library and pick up your heritage Case File. Visit the listed partner venues (as well as reading your books!) and get a stamp to be entered in to a fabulous prize draw to win a unique goody bag.

When you visit the Cathedral it is free to all visitors so to earn your Case File stamp here all you need to do is find one of the Animal Agents lurking in the Cathedral. These may be drawings of characters in the books you read or they may be the Cathedral’s own animals (look closely at the stained glass, stone and wood carving!) any animal you spot qualifies you to get your Case File stamped by our shop or welcome team.

Please be aware that on Sundays there is a morning service in the Cathedral at 10.15am. If you wish, you are welcome to join in with the service while you are here, or you can still look around the Cloisters, East End and other areas (maybe even visit The Monk's Kitchen, open at 11.00am, you never know what you might find there!!) until the service is finished at around 11.30am, when you will be able to get your case file stamped.
