‘Stella’ By Filskit Theatre

Date: 31st October 2019

Time: 13:00

Inspired by our night sky, Stella, is a brand new piece of theatre for children aged 3+ and their families. The story of The Man in the Moon is a familiar one, but what if it wasn’t an old man all the way up there, but a young woman? What if this solitary young woman had a job, a very important one? Using projection, clowning and aerial circus, we want to talk about our sky. We’ll explore how light pollution means that Stella no longer hears our stories and how sometimes it is important to turn out the lights and wish upon a star. ‘Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet’ – Stephen Hawking Tickets: £12/£7/£5 available from www.strikealightfestival.org.uk/events/stella/
