The Drury Singers from Drury University, Springfield, Missouri under the direction of James Davidson will be performing in the Cathedral as part of this year’s tour to England which will also see them perform in Pershore Abbey, and smaller church venues in London and the Home Counties.

They bring with them an eclectic repertoire ranging from Palestrina and Victoria to Brahms and music from the New World.  The choir is the select touring choir of the University, travelling abroad every two years,  and as such has spread its music throughout Europe (France, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy) and performing in China (2011), Greece & Turkey (2013) and Scandinavia (2015).

The choir’s last visit to the British Isles was in 2007 where they gave concerts in St Gilles’s Cathedral, Edinburgh and St Paul’s Cathedral, London.
