Whispering Gallery

Our best kept secret...

The Tribune Gallery and Whispering Gallery are some of our best kept secrets.

Situated above the Quire, the Tribune Gallery provides one of the most spectacular views of Gloucester Cathedral.

This space also lets you get up close to the Great East Window and see in greater detail the exquisite craftsmanship that has been in situ for over 650 years.

Connected to the Tribune Gallery is the Cathedral’s Whispering Gallery, which is great fun for children and adults alike.

Taking its name from a feature of its construction, the space enables a whisper to be heard from the opposite side to which you are standing – it is really very clever!

February Half-term 2017 opening times:

Saturday 11 to Saturday 18 February inclusive (except Sunday), 10.45am – 3.45pm.

(Closed on Tuesday 14 February)

Admission £2.00 – Accompanied children under 16 free.

Please note that the gallery is not accessible when there is a service taking place in the Quire.
