Art and Architecture
The Cathedral is a rich resource for the study of architecture, from Romanesque to Perpendicular. Tours can include an opportunity to come face to face with the Great East Window in the Tribune Gallery and discover how medieval glass was made, or a visit to the Stonemasons’ Workshop.

RE based visits
In a Cathedral setting R.E. students might wish to investigate Christian beliefs, teachings and how faith is expressed. It can be arranged for students to have the opportunity during a visit to interview Cathedral clergy to gain an insight into Christian perspectives on contemporary issues.
