RE U2.1 What does it mean for Christians to believe that God is Holy and Loving?

In line with the Gloucestershire Agreed Syllabus for RE, this trail enables children to make clear connections between Bible texts studied and what Christians believe about God: for example through how cathedrals are designed.

In line with the Gloucestershire Agreed Syllabus for RE, through different workshops during the session, this trail will enable children to:

  • make clear connections between bible texts studied and what Christians believe about God: for example through how Cathedrals are designed
  • learn about the medieval Christians who built cathedrals ‘to the glory of God’. Find out about what kind of God cathedrals suggest the builders had in mind
  • Investigate how different parts of cathedrals express ideas about God as holy and loving

Timing: Two hour session

Cost: £3 per pupil (plus VAT) Accompanying adults free
