Cathedral Green

We want to provide the Cathedral with a fitting setting that not only enhances the building, but provides a green space within the City to host a range of exciting new events and activities.

The re-landscaping will:

  • give an improved welcome to all
  • encourage more people to enjoy the space
  • increase the number of disabled spaces
  • create level access to the West Door
  • tactile paving will ensure all who enter the space can navigate their way through it
  • create a beautiful green space abundant in rich planting
  • ensure a mixture of hard and soft landscaping to accommodate a range of different events and activities
