The morning worship today will have a Harvest Thanksgiving flavour. We will have a special collection, for which envelopes will be available, for the Christian Aid Harvest Appeal. This year, it is supporting farmers in Malawi to achieve good crops and a just reward for their labour.

As part of our Harvest Thanksgiving, Children's Church are collecting items for the Gloucester Food Bank. The food bank currently urgently needs the following items: Tinned cold meats, fish, fruit and rice pudding. Long life milk and fruit juice. Toiletries. Please bring along any donations you are able to donate to the service. Thank you. Richard Mitchell

Artist Johnny O'Hanlon and his work ‘Peaceful Shelter’ and a guest speaker from The Nelson Trust who will talk about their valuable community programmes in Gloucestershire

'Peaceful Shelter' will be in the South transept from Monday 9 to Monday 30 October 2017


A partnership event to mark Prisons Week 2017. Originally exhibited in Lichfield Cathedral, the sculpture Peaceful Shelter was created in collaboration with inmates from HMYOI Swinfen Hall. A group for survivors of domestic abuse based in Lichfield contributed to the positive images and messages on the inside of the sculpture.
