Project Pilgrim - Main Building Works

RSS

The Dean and Chapter of Gloucester Cathedral wish to appoint a contractor to work within the interior of this beautiful Grade 1 listed building to help it fulfil its role as a place of dynamic spiritual, civic and heritage activity at the centre of Gloucester.

The historic fabric is of considerable significance which will have a bearing on the sequencing, management and methods of the proposed internal works, to achieve the required high level of detail and finish. Other factors affecting the project are the separate but concurrent external landscaping project to the area immediately to the south of the cathedral and the requirement for the ongoing daily use of the cathedral to be maintained throughout the works.

This is a project for an exceptional contractor.
