Professor James Clark - ‘No better than Asses and Sheep: Remembering the Reformation attack on the monasteries’

James Clark is Professor of History at the University of Exeter. He has published widely on the history of England’s medieval monasteries and their fortunes at the Reformation and is a frequent media contributor on these themes. He was programme consultant for BBC TV’s Tudor Monastery Farm (2013). He is currently completing a major new study of the Dissolution of the Monasteries for Yale University Press.
